Facility

The Genomics and Bioinformatics Platform at NCGR provide services of DNA sequencing, genotyping, high-performance computing and large-scale data storage and analysis to the institute and other researchers.

Genome sequencing
The sequencing facility includes three new-generation high-throughput sequencers (Solexa), two 3730xl sequencers.

Computing and analysis
We have a high-performance computing system with 256 CPU cores and storage capacity of over 180 TB.

In addition, we have some high-throughput PCR Systems, real-time RT-PCR, DNA synthesizers, microarray scanner and so on.
