During November 20-23 2013,the 11th International Symposium on Rice Functional Genomics was held at hotel "The Grand", New Delhi, India. Prof. Bin Han was invited to give keynote talk about rice domestication on Friday, 22 Nov. The talk of Prof. Bin Han was "Rice Domestication Study Based on Rice Genome Variations". The first ISRFG was held in Shanghai, China in the year 2003 which led to the birth of International Rice Functional Genomics Consortium (IRFGC) for promoting International collaboration. Following this, the symposia has been held annually for the past 10 years in different countries including USA (2004), Philippines (2005), France (2006), Japan (2007), South Korea (2008), Philippines (2009), Brazil (2010), Taiwan (2011) and Thailand (2012), with a strong commitment to research, application and International collaboration to showcase exciting discoveries and new insights in rice functional genomics.
