On November 18th to 19th of 2010, Professor Bin Han visited Dr. Detlef Weigel's laboratory (Department of Molecular Biology), the Max Planck Institute for Development Biology, which is located in Tuebingen, Germany. Meanwhile, he also visited the University of Hohenhein, which is located in Stuttgart, Germany. On the next three days, Professor Bin Han attended another meeting named 'Future of Crop Plant Research' in the Leibniz Institute of Plant Genetics and Crop Plant Research (IPK) in Gatersleben. He gave the talk about 'Large-scale genome sequencing of rice landraces for genome-wide association study' as a invited speaker.
